This is non-returnable
Once the Customer completes the order for this custom-built and special order item the order is considered non-cancelable and also non-returnable.
Damages and issues
The customer is required to inspect the order upon reception and to NOT Sign the carrier pack list if shipping damages are suspected.
Contact Valley Box immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
IMPORTANT: It is crucial that you fully inspect the crate upon delivery. If you see any damages DO NOT sign for the delivery. FedEx fine print states that upon signature you have inspected and are accepting it in the condition as delivered. Identifying damage after signature eliminates the ability to file a damage claim.
Valley Box includes a packet with photos of the condition of the crate when it left our facility. Use these pictures to compare the condition of the crate upon receiving from FedEx.
Valley Box Company Inc. (“Valley Box”) LIMITED GUARANTEE
Valley Box guarantees its products to be built in accordance with the product specifications listed in valley-box-company.myshopify.com (the “Site”) and industry standards of practice. Valley Box will provide the product(s) set forth in the order provided and accepted by the Customer.
Customers have the opportunity to review and inspect the crates, packaging materials, and methods used and warrant that such materials and procedures meet their requirements and specifications.
Claims by Customers must be presented in writing with photographs of the non-conforming item, no later than thirty (30) days after Valley Box’s pack list receipt.
If a manufacturing defect claim is approved, Valley Box will repair, replace or refund the product at Valley Box’s discretion. Valley Box is not responsible for any incurred freight or delivery charges.
- Returned merchandise is subject to a 15% restocking fee. non-resalable items. The customer is obligated to pay the freight charge and stocking fee where applicable provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, etc. Valley Box reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after this. It is subject to a 15% restocking fee in credit that will be issued toward future purchases only.
- Repairs must be performed at Valley Box San Diego, CA facility.
- Replacement products can be shipped FOB Customer as the Customer is obligated to pay the freight charge(s).
The Shipping Policy dictates that every shipment must include insurance coverage for products in transit. Under no circumstances shall Valley Box Co. Inc. be liable for:
- Damages to products or other goods contained or to be contained in the packaging while in the care and custody of Customer, Shipper, or end recipient and;
- Damages which could not have been avoided by the exercise of care or conformance with such designs, methods, and materials, and;
- Damage occasioned by casualty, fire, and other hazards of the type typically covered under the property insurance required to be maintained by Customer and;
- Liability for the acts or negligence of any Shippers and end recipients and;
- Damage resulting from improper packing by any party other than Valley Box Co. Inc. and;
- Hazardous material shipments, which are the Customer’s responsibility to prepare, label, ship, and declare in accordance with the provisions of all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as any other jurisdictional body having control over the labeling, packing, or shipping of hazardous materials.
